Stone Dorcas Help Foundation
Community Development & Humanitarian Programs
Help children and families build a more secure future
Stone Dorcas Help Foundation is a community organisation based in Bujumbura, Burundi. Founded in 2020, it focuses on vulnerable children and families, connecting immediate support to longer-term opportunities for education, care and household income.
The foundation’s proposal reports growth from 10 children at its beginning to approximately 300 beneficiaries in 2026. Its expanded programme aims to reach more than 5,000 direct beneficiaries and support more than 1,000 households. These are future programme targets, distinct from the reported existing reach.
Proposed activities cover humanitarian assistance, access to education and healthcare, child protection and household livelihoods. A livelihood component combines livestock support with training in husbandry, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. The foundation invites development organisations, foundations, businesses, faith-based organisations and individual supporters to discuss participation.
